CFF's 10th Annual Golfing Event a Huge Success!
Nearly 150 golfers hit the links at beautiful Brookside Country Club

Some 148 WPHA members enjoyed a day of socializing and playing golf on June 9 on the beautiful links at the Brookside Country Club in Stockton, during CFF's special 10th Anniversary Golf Tournament. The weather was mild with blue skies and gentle winds. The day consisted of a luncheon barbecue, a putting contest as well as a round of golf, topped off with a banquet dinner and a slew of prizes being raffled off. The event this year raised $27,000 to finance next year's school garden grant program. This special CFF garden grant program will continue to provide funds to 24 California schools each year, and resources and outreach programs will encourage youth and educators to better understand agriculture. The highlight of dinner was two personal testimonials presented by teachers who received CFF grants. They were extremely grateful for the grant funds and CFF's willingness to educate students about the important benefits of agriculture and plant nutrition.

A Very Special Thanks to Those Who Helped Make it Happen

Our appreciation goes out to the more than 100 supporting companies who participated in the 10th Annual California Fertilizer Foundation Golf Tournament held on June 9. Golfers enjoyed a day of networking, golf and good food and prizes at this once again sell-out event. The funds obtained will be utilized by California schools to learn about what it takes for plants to grow. Below is a list of the many sponsors who helped us make this tournament one of the most successful ever!

Bottom right, after a hard day on the golf course, members enjoyed prime rib and other goodies during dinner.
