CFF's 12th Annual Golfing Event a Huge Success!
Nearly 160 golfers hit the links at beautiful Stockton Golf & Country Club

Some 156 WPHA members enjoyed a day of socializing and playing golf on June 7 on the beautiful links at the Stockton Golf and Country Club, during CFF's 12th Annual Golf Tournament. Including guests and volunteers, the number climbed to more than 180 attendees. Although many feared rain on the golf day, the weather was mild with sunny skies and gentle winds. The day consisted of a tasty lunch, a putting contest as well as a round of golf, topped off with a banquet dinner and a slew of prizes raffled off. The event raised $36,000 to finance next year's school garden grant program. This special CFF garden grant program will continue to provide funds to 24 California schools each year, and resources and outreach programs will encourage youth and educators to better understand agriculture. The highlight of dinner were personal testimonials from students at Lee Middle School in Woodland, who talked about how happy they were to get their school garden grant and how it will aid them in learning about agriculture.

A Very Special Thanks to Those Who Helped Make it Happen

Our appreciation goes out to the more than 80 supporting companies who participated in the 12th Annual California Fertilizer Foundation Golf Tournament. Golfers enjoyed a day of networking, golf and good food and prizes at this once again sell-out event. The funds obtained will be utilized by California schools to learn about what it takes for plants to grow. Below is a list of the many sponsors who helped us make this tournament a great success!
