Description of connections between the garden, classroom, and academic standards. (Explain how the garden will be used for learning, what subjects will be integrated, and how it connects with curriculum expectations.)
Information on how you plan to teach about plant growth and plant health. (Describe what concepts will be covered, what hands-on activities students will participate in, and how learning outcomes will be supported.)
Letters of support including: (students, principal, volunteers, community members, etc.)
Itemized breakdown of how funds will be used. (Include each item requested, quantities, costs, and a total amount.)
Photos/diagram of garden or if a new garden, a photograph of where the garden will be located.
Long-term plans for your garden. (Explain who will care for it, how it will be sustained year-to-year, and how it will continue to be used for student learning over time.)
